ADMISSION
PROCEDURE : |

| |
Admission to B. Pharm. course are done in two
entry levels as under
- Admission as per DTE Central Admission Process
(CAP):
In order to take admission through DTE CAP rounds,
candidate should have qualified Common Entrance
Test i.e. MHT-CET-, conducted by Directorates
of Medical and Technical Education, Government
of Maharashtra every year to fill 80 % of the
total seats available in the institute.

- Admission for Institute level seats:
In order to take admission to the 20 % of total
seats (i.e. 12) available with institute, a
candidate should approach College Principal
or Management of the Alard Charitable Trust.
The candidates who have not given MHT-CET-2010
may also apply as they are also eligible.
- ADMISSION PROCEDURE
B. Pharm.
Admission process for Degree course in Pharmacy
(F. Y. B. Pharm. & Direct S. Y. B. Pharm.)
usually begins in the month of June every year.
The aspiring candidates should go through the
Information Brochure and the rules for admission
to F.Y. B. Pharm. & Direct S.Y. B. Pharm
and accordingly apply for admission.

Note: Candidates are advised to follow rules of
Admission to First Year Degree in Pharmacy and
rules for Direct Admission to Second Year of Degree
course in Pharmacy as published by Director of
Technical Education M.S.(DTE-MS) from time to
time.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSIONS:
First Year (B. Pharm) :
For Maharashtra State(MS) And Outside Maharashtra
State (OMS) Candidates:

The candidate should have
passed the higher Secondary Certificate
(Std.XII) examination of the Maharashtra
State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary
Education Pune or equivalent examination
with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/
Mathematics as the subjects with not less
than 50 percent marks (150 out of 300) in
the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/
Mathematics taken together (Maximum of marks
obtained in Biology/ Mathematics shall be
considered for the purpose of addition.)
at the same sitting or any other equivalent
qualification accepted by the University.
(45 percent marks i.e. 135 out of 300 in
the subjects of Physics, Chemistry
and Biology/ Mathematics taken together
at the same sitting for Backward
class candidates)
AND
A Non Zero Score card
in MHT-CET (For Admission through DTE Allotment,
as per DTE admission rules).

All applications should
be accompanied by the attested copies of the following
documents : |

- Certificate of passing of H.S.C. or Equivalent.
Examination with statement of marks.
- Certificate of passing of the qualifying
examination and the statement of marks.
- Certificate of Indian nationality issued
by a competent authority or by a revenue office
not below the rank of Tahsildar.
- Schools/Institute Leaving Certificate, in
original, of the last Institute attended.
- Certificate of date of birth if the date
of birth is not mentioned in the school or institute
leaving certificate.
- Father's/mother's domicile certificate if
candidate has not appeared and passed S.S.C
Examination and studies two preceding academic
years from school located in Maharashtra.
- Domicile certificate in respect of father/mother
of the candidate.
- If there is a gap between passing of his
or her qualifying examination and year of admission,
the candidate shall submit an affidavit on a
stamped paper stating the factual position

Additional Documents
Required For Candidates Belonging to Backward Classes |
|
| |
- Caste Validity : Certificate to support his
claim as backward class candidate in specified
form and from specified authority.
- Certificate issued by the competent authority
stating that the candidates parents do not belong
to creamy layer, as per relevant orders of the
Government of Maharashtra. (as applicable)
Note:
Copies of the certificates attached to the application
form should be attested by the Principal of the
School/Institute or a Gazetted officer or special
Executive Magistrate. Original certificates will
have to be produced at the time of scrutiny of
application prior to admission.
* No duplicate leaving certificate will be
accepted

Eligibility & Enrolment
in University
The students admitted to first
year course are required to apply in the prescribed
form to the University for Grant of eligibility
along with prescribed fees by the University before
the due date. The eligibility fees and the last
date for submission of the eligibility forms in
the college office shall be notified in due course.
Students seeking transfer for second year of the
degree course are also required to obtain eligibility
from the University if they have passed the previous
examination from other university. The prescribed
forms for eligibility shall be available in the
college office. All the admissions made to first
year/ second year course shall be provisional
and will be subsequently confirmed only on grant
of eligibility by the University of Pune. The
college authorities shall not be responsible for
non grant of eligibility by the University. The
student provisionally admitted if declared ineligible
by the University, his/her admission will be cancelled
immediately and fees paid by him/her shall not
be refunded.

Prospectus and Application form
for admission will be available in the office
on payment of Rs.1000/- payable in cash or by
demand draft in favour of Alard College of Pharmacy.
Also, the Application Form can
be downloaded from the web site and sent to our
address along with the requisite documents and
a Bank Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (Additional
Rs 100/- for Postal Charges) in favour of Alard
College of Pharmacy, payable at Pune. The prospectus
will be sent to you immediately.

Cancellation of
Admission: |

A Candidate who has been
provisionally admitted through CAP may cancel
admission by submitting application in duplicate
and may request for refund of fees.

It is made clear that such application for
cancellation will be Considered if and only
if the admission taken provisionally through
CAP by paying prescribed Tuition fees and
by submitting all necessary original documents. |

Refund of Tuition

and balance will be refunded.

who cancel admission after the out off
date of admission; no refund of fees

Examination Pattern |

| |
The teaching institute will hold
at least three sessional examinations for Theory
and Practical evenly spread over a year for the
purpose of internal assessment. Sessional marks
will be calculated as the average of the best
two performances at these examinations. These
marks will be submitted to University before commencement
of the University Examinations. A candidate failing
in any of the University examinations will have
a chance to improve sessional marks.
